Every Decoragloba story really begins with a smell.

Some say it all starts with María, and with the years she lived in her parents' house. We don't know whether it happened exactly like that or whether it is simply how we found a way to tell something more universal — but we do know that we all have those childhood smells that, without warning, take us back to one exact moment.

A walk in the wild holding her grandmother's hand. Summer afternoons turned into dreams in the pine grove, with the heat among the pines and resin in the air.

The rest on the grass in the garden, unhurried, with no clock. The hours hidden under the fig tree, in the coolest shade on the whole property.

The memories among almond trees, from spring walks with her parents. The siesta in the orange grove, with that orange-blossom smell that stayed on your clothes.

The breezy afternoons of days by the coast. The shadows of orange blossom, soft, almost sweet, announcing that the good weather was coming.

The calm of Sunday afternoons at home. The time spent at the foot of the lemon tree, playing while her mother cooked. And, above all, my moments, hers, everyone's, the ones you don't tell but recognise the moment they come back as a smell.

That is the territory of Identity: fragrance as family memory, as roots, as the home you can always return to just by closing your eyes.

With time, memories change shape. When you no longer live in the house you grew up in, what you once looked for in your family you start looking for in the world. That is how Experience: the other half of the same idea, looking outwards instead of inwards.

Each Experience collection is a journey turned into scent. África, with its spices, woods, leathers and coffees: intense and vivid. Japón, with the calm of its rituals: restrained and precise. Grecia, luminous, with the Mediterranean at its heart. Portugal, warm and coastal. Finlandia, cold, clean, almost silent. Where others keep a photograph, we keep a scent, because there are experiences the nose remembers better than the eyes.

DECORAGLOBA was born in 2006 in Valencia, with the idea of designing atmospheres and creating feelings that captivate everyone you invite in. Today we are present in more than 15 countries, thanks to our presence at international trade fairs.

Together with our master perfumer, we build each of our fragrances around an idea that inspires us: María's identity. An identity that carries the smells of what she lived, so that smelling each fragrance takes us, as it takes her, to those memories and experiences.

Our commitment

We don't just sell candles: we sell the feeling of coming home and noticing that something has changed for the better. That is why every new fragrance goes through the same filter: does it take someone to a particular place? If it doesn't, it never leaves the workshop.
